Book Cover Redesign – THIS IS NOT A TEST
Redesigning the cover for THIS IS NOT A TEST allowed me to visually interpret the novel’s gripping, post-apocalyptic narrative through my own artistic lens. The story follows a group of high school students trapped in their school, struggling to survive both the relentless undead and the psychological toll of isolation.
To capture this intense atmosphere, I employed bold, high-contrast colors, dramatic illustration, and distressed textures, creating a sense of urgency and unease. The title itself reads like a warning—an element I emphasized through striking typography and dynamic composition. By blending chaotic visual elements with emotional depth, my design conveys the novel’s core themes of survival, tension, and the fragility of human connection.
