Book Cover Redesign – "Horrorstör"

For this book design project, I reimagined the cover of "Horrorstör", a chilling novel about a group of furniture store employees who must survive a night of terror, haunted by the ghosts of a former prison and its sadistic warden.

Combining photography and illustration, I crafted a visually striking and conceptually rich design that reflects the novel’s eerie, claustrophobic atmosphere. The cover features a lone figure seated in a chair, facing a blank wall—symbolizing the characters’ helplessness as they become trapped in a nightmarish reality. Intricate illustrations extend across the back cover and spine, reinforcing the unsettling tone. Through dramatic lighting, photo manipulation, and ornamental details, my design captures the novel’s haunting essence while offering a fresh artistic interpretation.
